ALTON – the newest development in Palm Beach Gardens – has been coming to life over the past 6 months as new stores and restaurants continue to open. ALTON combines the best in recreation, business, convenience and residential living. Accessibility is the goal for its residents with a Town Center that debuted earlier this year where homeowners are just a short walk away from retail, dining and entertainment.
When the construction of the neighborhood is finished, there will be about 930 homes and an additional 300 apartments between Alton and Alton’s Town Center. The Town Center is located in the northeast corner of the community and serves a retail and entertainment destination within the community. Its first stores were Publix and PetSmart which opened in December 2018. Since then, other trendy spots such as Starbucks and Bolay have also opened their doors.
By the end of the summer, you can expect to see others up and running including Chipotle, Panera, Longhorn Steakhouse and Moon Thai and Japanese. Additional tenants within Alton’s Town Center will specialize in fitness, specialty retail, and entertainment. Construction is currently underway on store fronts like Massage Envy, Junior’s Barber Shop, Tipsy Salon, T-Mobile and Xfinity.
Alton Town Center is not only convenient for its community residents, but for all residents in northern Palm Beach County. It is conveniently located off Donald Ross Road just east of I-95 across from the entrance to Abacoa. The developer’s plans include the community to eventually connect Donald Ross Road and Hood Road to the south. With easy accessibility and highly attractive destinations, Alton is sure to become one of the more popular destinations in the local area.
