Palm Beach County Holiday Events

December 2, 2018

With the holiday season in full swing, there’s too many local events happening to list! So here’s just a few of my favorites!

Palm Beach Food and Wine Fest – One of the top star-studded and gastronomic delights of the year is happening December 13-16, 2018.  Hosted by the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach and select locations on the island of Palm Beach (such as The Breakers, Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, Cafe Boulud, Buccan, PB Catch, Meat Market) and beyond, the festival showcases some of the world’s most renowned chefs and wine industry leaders through a collection of dinners, tastings, seminars, and more. Hamilton – The most popular and sought-after ticket in theatre comes to the Au-Rene Theater at Broward Center For The Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale. Palm Beach’s great central location allows you to visit other top-rated venues within an hour drive. This musical is centered around the life of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton and has achieved both critical acclaim and box office success. The show will run from December 18 through January 12. However, if you do want to wait it out, Hamilton will be coming to the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach for the 2019-2020 season. Boynton Beach & Delray Beach Holiday Boat Parade – The 47th Annual Holiday Boat Parade takes place on Friday, December 14. The parade of boats will light up the Intracoastal Waterways throughout Boynton Beach, and Delray Beach to the C-15 canal. The watch party at the Boynton Harbor Marina starts at 6:00 pm with live music setting the stage for the parade. This family-friendly free event invites parade-goers to bring a picnic and enjoy the colorful view. For more information, visit:  https://www.boynton-beach.org/holiday-boat-parade

Held on Sunday, December 9, the parade runs from Jupiter to Tequesta along Old Dixie Highway and Alternate A1A starting at 1pm. The theme for this year is Future Christmas.  Grab your friends and family and come on out for this great holiday event! For more information, visit: https://www.jtaa.org/holidayparade
